FINDING CHRIST

Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”

Everybody is born a sinner, there is nothing we can do to change that. And as a sinner, we fail God’s intentions for us.

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

As a result of our sin, we are separated from God. The punishment for our sin is hell.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”

Romans 5:8 “when we were in our sin Christ Jesus came to die for us.”

Even though we are sinners, God loves us. All of us, no matter what we have done or will do.
God loves us so much that he sent His Son as a perfect sacrifice for us. Jesus died on the cross as a sacrifice for all of our sins.

Second Corinthians 5:21 “He who knew no sin became sin for us, that we may be made the righteousness of God through Him.”

Jesus was the perfect Son of God. He had never sinned, and as the Son of God, could never have sinned. When he died on the cross for us, He took on all of our sins, so that we could be saved.

Romans 10:13 “for Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

All we have to do to be saved is pray to God repenting of our sins, recognizing our sin nature, stating our belief that Jesus died for our sins, and putting our trust in Him.
